We have always had an interest in the ethics of fair trade and a belief that it helps to bridge the gap between southern producers and northern consumers. For this reason we set up our shop " A world of difference" to enable people to have a chance to by gifts, ceramics, carvings and much more, that they know have meaning above their tangible attributes. In order to promote awareness of the issues involving fair trade we provide information on the producers and artisans of our goods, and we also have maps to show the places they come from and were possible we also have information on how the goods are made and the history behind them. Some of this information can be found on this site along with pictures of a selection of things we sell.
